2007-11-7

Japanese global liner shipping and multimodal transport group MOL has announced the appointment of agents in Romania, Ukraine and Moldova.

Panta Rhei will represent MOL in all three countries where it will promote the latter's liner business. MOL said the appointment formed part of its ongoing strategy to expand coverage into the fast-growing South East European region.

In Romania, Panta Rhei runs offices in Bucharest and the port of Constanza. In Ukraine, it operates from the port of Odessa. "These markets are experiencing strong growth and this trend is expected to continue," stated MOL's executive director trade, Jochen Veldmann.
