Australian fund buys into Singapore firm

A fund headed by former Patrick managing director Chris Corrigan has entered into a joint venture with a Singaporean logistics company.

Kaplan Funds Management has entered into a US$16.7 million deal to acquire a 9.4 per cent stake in transport company Freight Links.

Under the deal, Kaplan said it would form a joint venture arrangement with Freight Links to seek out new investments in China and Asia.
