QANTAS Freight, an airfreight division of Qantas Airways, has renewed its agreement with Cargo Community Network (CCN), an Asia-Pacific provider of internet portal services to the airfreight industry.
Qantas Freight has agreed to participate with CCN globally in a bid to bring both companies closer.
The airline has decided to continue with the cargo portal in a bid to simplify processes, improve productivity and its bottomline, a company statement said.
"Similarly for CCN, this renewed partnership indicates strong confidence and support from Qantas Freight in CCN. We truly believe that this will give both companies greater opportunities to offer higher levels of customer satisfaction within an integrated platform," said Teow Boon Ling, general manager, CCN.
The statement added CCNhub is a secure, carrier neutral portal that offers a range of services to the airfreight community. CCNhub cuts the costs for industry players and provides a major step forward in the way they can make allotment and free sales bookings, review flight schedules, as well as track and trace the progress of their shipments.
CCN also offers users a cargo portal enabled to handle e-invoicing and payment, and distribute neutral waybills electronically.
