Smoke forces FedEx freighter back to HK
POSTED: 6:21 p.m. EDT, August 29,2007

A FedEx cargo plane made an emergency landing at Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok airport last night after a pilot reported smoke in the aircraft and an electrical problem.

Local newspaper reports said Flight FX013 was 13 minutes out of Hong Kong en route to the FedEx Asia hub at Subic Bay in the Philippines when the problem was reported and the aircraft turned back.

Two pilots were on board but neither was injured.
