Danzas AEI and Airbus Middle East sign three year logistics agreement
POSTED: 9:38 a.m. EDT, July 6,2007

The contract involves Danzas AEI Emirates managing the spare parts centre built by Airbus in Dubai, which will support the aircraft manufacturer's rapid expansion in the Middle East.

The spares centre, built on a 5,100 sqm site and located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, will stock parts made by Airbus and major equipment suppliers. Airbus' worldwide support network headquartered in Hamburg already includes spares centres in Beijing and Ashburn/Washington DC as well as warehouses in Shanghai, Frankfurt and Singapore.

Speaking on behalf of Danzas AEI Emirates, Mr. Moretti commented, "We are proud of the confidence displayed by Airbus in awarding this contract to our organization and delighted to embark in a long term commercial relationship between our 2 companies. This strategic partnership re-enforces our commitment as major service provider in the region to the aviation industry.'
