Work on US$104 million Xiamen logistics centre starts

Construction of the Xiamen International Logistics Centre, in Dongdu port area of Xiamen, started recently, Xinhua reported.

The 42,000-square metre logistics centre, an important part of the CNY800 million (US$104 million) Xiamen Modern Logistics Park will be completed in 2009.



All customs and inspection offices of Dongdu port, Xiangyu Bonded Zone and Xiamen Modern Logistics Park will be moved to the new logistics centre, providing integrated, one-stop customs clearance and logistics supporting services, the report said.
