MOL signs space charter deal with Sinotrans

Japanese carrier MOL has entered a space charter agreement with Sinotrans Changjiang Shipping Company Ltd to offer feeder services on the Yangtze River.

According to the agreement, the two sides will co-operate on a weekly service, which calls at port of Nantong, Yangshan, Waigaoqiao, Taicang and Zhangjiagang with the first voyage commencing June 4.



MOL said the deal will provide Yangtze River Delta shippers with faster transshipment services at a lower cost as well as enhancing their competitive position.
