Qingdao market lacking in container handling gear

Shipping companies in Qingdao have been experiencing a severe shortage of container equipment in May and June this year as a result of surging export volume in the city since April, Xinhua reported.
Although the shipping companies had made adjustments, the demand of Qingdao market to container handling gear was still much higher than supply, the report said. Shipping companies are expected to suffer greater pressure from equipments shortages during the summer peak season. |
