Vanguard Logistics Services (VLS), the subsidiary of OTS Logistics Group, have announced that Charles Brennan has been appointed CEO.
"If we are going to meet the very aggressive growth targets, we need to expand our focus on both acquisitions and organic growth. I am therefore pleased to ask Charlie to work shoulder to shoulder with me in meeting the targets we have set," said OTS Logistics chairman Owen Glenn.
Mr Brennan built Brennan International Transport, an American NVOCC, over a 10-year period, then sold it in 1998. He has since held a variety of executive positions within the OTS Logistics Group, and was made COO in 2006.
"OTS Logistics Group and the Vanguard brand now represent the world's leading neutral consolidator of ocean freight," said Mr Brennan. "My focus is to ensure that Owen's strategic vision is executed."
The organisation intends to reach a revenue target of US$1 billion. The plan includes up to 12 acquisitions, over three years accompanied by organic growth. |
