HONG KONG Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has been named the "Air Cargo Handling Agent of the Year 2007" at the Air Cargo Week World Air Cargo Awards.
The accolade was presented at the air cargo exhibition and conference, Air Cargo Europe from June 12-15 in Munich, Germany.
In the online voting nomination conducted by the awards organiser, Hactl received the highest number of votes due to its "outstanding performance in committing to investment and time-saving techniques, achieving measurable performance standards and high levels of care, and being a multi-service provider offering special facilities," said a Hactl statement.
"As a Hong Kong-based company, we are very honoured to be named as 'Air Cargo Handling Agent of the Year 2007.' It is not only recognition of Hactl, but also the entire logistics industry in Hong Kong. The award is a testimony to Hactl's unrivalled capability and service excellence," said Hactl managing director Anthony Wong.
