Kerry Logistics and Lynden international JV to Australia
POSTED: 9:31 a.m. EDT, June 11,2007
Kerry Logistics and Lynden Air Freight, trading under the name Lynden International, have extended their coverage to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and beyond.

The Seattle-based joint venture "Kerry-Lynden" reaches some 40 countries, including Canada, Mexico and US territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam.

"By providing service in more locations worldwide, our customers can also expand operations with the assurance that we offer the same high-quality support in new geographic areas," said Lynden International president Dennis Patrick.

This development comes after Lynden International last year entered into an agreement with logistics provider Kerry Freight International Limited, doing business as Kerry Logistics, to combine sales and operating resources in North America and Asia.

"This expansion is part of our strategy to respond to customers needs," said Kerry managing director Vincent Wong. "Our customers prefer to trade with a single global entity instead of multiple agent partners, so we have expanded into new major world markets like Australia to further streamline their experience with us."
