MASkargo wins freight handling award from Korean Air Cargo
POSTED: 8:47 a.m. EDT, May 29,2007
Korean Air Cargo, the world's largest air cargo carrier by operation, has awarded its best global ground handler award for 2006 to Malaysia Airlines Cargo (MASkargo).

The award was presented by Korean Air deputy general manager Thomas Lim Tae Hoon to MAS senior general manager (cargo) Ong Jyh Jong.

Korean Air Cargo utilises MASkargo's Advanced Cargo Centre (ACC) at the KL International Airport in Sepang and Penang Cargo Centre at Penang International Airport for its freighter operations.

In a MASkargo statement, Mr Ong said the award is testament to the efficient and world-class terminal handling service provided by MASkargo.

"The implementation of various service enhancement projects at all our cargo terminals system-wide, including adoption of international standards certification such as ISO9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001, has helped in ensuring a high quality service.
