Samsung Signs for 6 Containerships

Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries has won a deal from an unnamed European owner for 6 big containerships, reports TradeWinds.

The 8,500-teu vessels will be delivered by 31 July, 2010, it said in a statement. They are costing KRW 713bn ($771.5mn).
