Maersk Line will upgrade its Asia-Europe network with the introduction of the new Europe-Far East service, and will restructure its Oceania-Americas service to enhance coverage of the North American markets.

Beginning with the first departure from Xingang (China) on May 28th, the new Europe-Far East (AE11) service will deploy seven 4,000 TEU vessels to meet increasing demand for more capacity.

The port rotation of the new AE11 service will be: Xingang (China) > Dalian (China) > Qingdao (China) > Shanghai (China) > Hongkong (China) > Malaga (Spain) > Algeciras (Spain) > Xiamen (China) > Xingang (China).

The restructured OC1 service will feature direct calls in Newark (New Jersey) and Miami (Florida), supplementing the current regular port calls in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), Norfolk(Virginia) and Savannah (Georgia).
