Qantas has announced plans to extend its codeshare agreement with Air France to include services between Australia and Paris via Hong Kong, effective from May 1.
As a result, Qantas would codeshare on Air France flights between Hong Kong and Paris, and Air France would codeshare on Qantas services between Hong Kong and Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Paris-bound Qantas flights will connect with Air France services in Hong Kong with seven connecting Qantas flights a week from Sydney; three connecting Qantas services a week from Melbourne, increasing to six per week from June 11, as well as four connecting Qantas flights a week from Brisbane to Hong Kong.
"This new agreement will enhance our existing daily codeshare services operating to Paris via Singapore from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and three a week from Adelaide," said Qantas executive general manager John Borghetti in a statement from the airline.
"Both airlines are looking forward to the same success on these new codeshare services," he said.
