Arild Iversen, group vice president for shipping and logistics at Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA, has been appointed president and CEO of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), a company statement announced.
Mr Iversen, 52, will take on his new job on April 1. Nils Petter Dyvik, 53, becomes Group CFO of Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA.
Mr Iversen has held various positions with the Wilh. Wilhelmsen group since 1979, including 18 years in liner services, responsible for international marketing and customer contact, and then served as head of the company's office in Singapore through the Barwil agency company. He is a business graduate of the Norwegian School of Management.
Mr Dyvik will start in his new job on August 1 and according to a company statement. He leaves WWL after what has been its best performing year ever.
WWL chairman Lone Fonss Schroder said: "Arild Iversen knows the business very well. His deep shipping knowledge and heavy industrial and international experience will be very important in an increasing competitive environment. We are excited to welcome Arild as the new CEO of WWL."
