The Northwest Marine Terminal Association (NWMTA), a voluntary organisation comprising 13 deepwater ports in Oregon and Washington, has elected John Hachey from the Port of Anacortes as its president for 2007.

Jim Amador from the Port of Olympia was chosen as vice president while the association's new treasurer will be Susan Becklund from the Port of Tacoma. Patti Fulghum continues as executive officer, an association statement said.
