"K" Line's managing executive officer, Satoru Kuboshima, is retiring from his post on April 1, and has been appointed vice president of the "K" Line Shipmanagement Co.

A company statement also announced that executive officers Hisashi Yasui and Takumi Yoshii will be leaving their posts and become managing director of "K" Line Bulk Shipping (UK) Ltd and director of Taiyo Nippon Kisen Co. respectively.

Toshio Shimizu has been appointed senior executive officer responsible for the shipping line's containership, port and total logistics businesses while Eizo Murakami has been appointed managing executive officer handling the containership and port businesses.
