Work on the Xiamen International Logistics Centre is scheduled to start during the first half of the year and be completed by the end of 2009.

The project is expected to cost up to CNY800 million (US$103.27 million). Once completed, customs and inspection offices based within the Dongdu port area, Xiangyu free trade zone and bonded logistics park will be set up inside the centre to provide one-stop clearance services.
