BOEING has announced its total aircraft deliveries for the year as well as for the fourth quarter of 2006 across its commercial and defence operations.
In 2006, the Chicago-based plane maker delivered five 717s, three of which were leased. The company also delivered three hundred and two 737 Next Generation aircraft, fourteen 747s, twelve 767s and sixty-five 777s for a total of 398 civil aircraft. In the fourth quarter, Boeing delivered seventy-nine 737 Next Generations, three 747s, three 767s and eighteen 777s.
The firm also delivered four satellites in 2006, one of which was delivered in the fourth quarter.
Full-year deliveries (Q4 in parentheses) in the military field amounted thirty-one AH-64Ds (ten), sixteen C-17s (four), one C-40 (none), two CH-47 Chinooks (two), two Delta IIs (one), three Delta IVs (one), twelve F-15s (nine), forty-two F/A-18E/Fs (ten) and thirteen T-45TSs (two).
