China's tax on the import and leasing of aircraft, which is higher than most countries in Europe and the US, is to be cut in line with international standards. Currently, tariffs and value-added taxes on aircraft imports range from 5.04 to 22.85 percent and withholding tax on aircraft leasing ranges from seven to 10 percent.
