The Federation Council has approved the law on insurance of Russian vessels, RBC reports. The bill provisions introduction of a new norm into Article 4 of the Law “On arrangement of insurance operations in the RF”, according to which the limits on admitting of insurers is not to be applied to insurance of commercial vessels registered with Russian International Register of Vessels. Thus, the amendment coordinates the provisions of the Law with the provisions of RF Merchant Marine Code.
