Czech Airlines has announced that it is to scrap its route between Prague and Stansted Airport from the end of the month. However, the airline said that it will still operate 18 Prague services a week to and from Heathrow Airport 'in line with the airline's strategy of offering flights to the major airports.'
The decision to scrap flights to Stansted, now very much a budget airline's hub, comes as part of a shake-up of the airline's winter timetable, which will see it increase the number of flights it operates between Prague and destinations such as Madrid, Amsterdam, Brussels and Moscow.
