Famous Pacific Shipping (FPS), the Asia-based NVOCC and freight services supplier, says its four-day annual general meeting (AGM) and conference is taking place in Mauritius until October 24 and is covering topics pertaining to the future direction of the group.
Some 150 executives, representing group members from around the world from 43 different companies based in 22 countries, are attending. A FPS statement said the attendees are focusing on the evolution of freight forwarding and discussing the changing face and growing opportunities of the global freight industry today.
"In our industry, if you stand still you are left behind. The theory of evolution is all about the survival of the fittest and that is certainly the case in the freight forwarding industry today," said Famous Pacific spokesman Marcus Goldsworthy.
