Danaos Buys Maersk Ships

Greek non-operating owner, NYSE-listed Danaos purchased the 1991-built 4,800 TEU, Maersk-post fixed sisterships "Madison, Mayview, McKinney" at a reported $54 million en-bloc.

There is a 60-month charterback to Maersk Line at $23,450 per vessel a day, plus extension options, according to Dyna Liners.
