Zhuhai government issues port use guidelines

Zhuhai has become the second city after Guangzhou in Guangdong province to draw up port use guidelines, Xinhua reported.
Besides specifying the operation procedures, security, safety and environmental requirements, the guidelines also list rules and regulations and provide contact information to relevant authorities.
The number of vessels handled by the port of Zhuhai surpassed 1,000 in 2006 and is expected to increase by more than 50 per cent by the end of 2008.
