Qingdao Airport cargo mail volume reaches record high

The cargo mail volume of Qingdao Airport in the first half of this year came to 53,100 tons, a new half-year record, Logistics Week reports.

Qingdao Airport handled 38,000 flights in the first half of this year, which is also a new high for the airport, the report says.



Currently there are 81 air services in Qingdao Airport, including 68 domestic services, 10 international services and three regional services.



There are now 13 daily flights from Qingdao to Beijing, 15 to Shanghai, 13 to South Korea, five to Japan and four to Hong Kong. The airport handled at least 240 flights a day, averaging one every six minutes.
