Shanghai Logistics Association established

SHANGHAI Logistics Association was recently established to replace the former Shanghai Trade Association of Logistics Management (STALM), Xinhua reported.
The new organisation, expanded from the STALM group, consists of 838 members, including 35 local large logistics companies, as well as key logistics park and logistics base operators, the report said.
Total output value of the logistics industry in Shanghai reached CNY290.5 billion (US$37.6 million) in 2006 and added value came to CNY133.8 billion, accounting for 13 per cent in the city's GDP. |
