Taiwannese Customs in Keelung has granted permission for Cosco Logistics to establish a business within the city's free trade port zone, reports Logistics Week.

It said the new office will be located on the west side of the Keelung Port, covering 2,621 square metres. The company will provide value-added services including trade, logistics, warehousing, transshipment, product assembly, packaging and exhibition services.

The new Cosco Logistics branch is expected to stimulate growth in the city's related industries and well as create jobs.
