Prologis builds second logistics facility in Suzhou

The world's largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities, Prologis, has started building its second logistics park in Suzhou, a city near Shanghai, Xinhua reported.

The new facility in the Wangting International Logistics Park, is Prologis' second joint project with the Suzhou Logistics Centre Co., Ltd. after the ProLogis Park Suzhou, which was built in 2004.

The project is planned to cover a total area of 2.5 square kilometres. The first phase will take up 18.7 hectares, providing regional distribution service.
