Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, located in Florida, will launch an International Air Cargo Management Certificate programme for industry professionals. The university claims that this programme is the first of its kind addressing the needs of the air cargo industry on an international basis.

The programme is offered worldwide on an e-learning basis, consisting of 23 courses. Course modules include business management, leadership, air cargo aircraft operations, human resource management, and air cargo technical services.

Embry-Riddle aims to instruct individuals for positions in the air cargo industry by focusing specifically on the needs and operations of that industry. The programme mixes traditional management and aviation principles with specific air cargo industry practices.

Graduates of the programme will receive ‘continuing education units’ on their academic transcript and a completion certificate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
