Fans Trans China Ltd and Total Logistics International Ltd granted air cargo sales licences
POSTED: 8:35 a.m. EDT, May 9,2007
Foreign wholly-owned air cargo sales licenses have recently been granted to two Hong Kong companies, Fans Trans China Ltd and Total Logistics International Ltd, according to their consultant Sinolinks International Ltd.

Sinolinks said they were the first two licences to be awarded out of a total of six applications the consultant has so far submitted to Beijing since the air cargo sales licence were offered through the Cepa III scheme since the beginning of the year.

"After these first and second licences become more familiar, we expect processing time for applications will be shortened to 30 working days," said a Sinolinks statement.

Hong Kong-based companies awarded this licence through the Cepa agreement between the HKSAR and mainland China will be allowed to deal directly with airlines on the mainland. Sinolinks expects this development to have a significant impact on local master loaders as more and more firms are granted licences.
