Tokyo-based "K" Line took delivery today of the 88,000-deadweight-ton coal carrier Corona Majesty built by Japan's Imabari Shipbuilding. The vessel is "K" Line's 11th in the post-Panamax Corona series with another four due by 2009. The ships are equipped with wide beams and shallow drafts, making them suitable to transport thermal coal, "K" Line said.
