Yang Ming and Heung-A consider new services calling Gunsan
POSTED: 2:18 p.m. EDT, February 1,2007

Taiwan's Yang Ming Line and South Korea's Heung-A Shipping plan to separately launch new services calling at Gunsan, South Korea, this year.

Yang Ming is likely to deploy two 600 teu ships on a new intra-Asia loop calling at Gunsan in February while Heung-A may start a new service in April, provided the volume in Gunsan picks up by that time.

The Gunsan city government expects throughput to reach 70,000 teu a year with the two services.
