COSCON, "K" Line and Yang Ming are launching a service called the East Mediterranean Express (EMX) mid-March that will target the liner shipping market from Asia to Israel and Greece.

The EMX will be operated by seven 3,000-TEU vessels, with Coscon providing four ships, YML two and "K" Line deploying one.

The port rotation for the East Mediterranean Express (EMX) will be: Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Ashdod, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Shanghai.

By launching the new East Mediterranean Express (EMX), member lines of CKYH Alliance will further upgrade the existing Aegean Sea Direct Express (ADX) from six 1,400-TEU vessels to six of 2,000-TEU vessels, mainly aiming at major ports in Turkey.
