Eltherington, one of the UK's leading suppliers of architectural aluminium and bespoke manufacturing services to the architectural, leisure and stockholding sectors, has invested in six new trucks worth over £200,000, following continued business success.
The trucks were required to meet increased demand at Eltherington's 6-acre manufacturing site at Dansom Lane South, and form part of maintaining the company's excellent customer service levels, including same day and next day delivery options.
Eltherington is one of the few companies in the industry to operate its own distribution fleet, which gives it much greater flexibility in responding to the needs of its customers. Featuring Eltherington's distinctive new branding, the vehicles will be unmissable on the roads of Britain.
The vehicles have the latest Euro 5 engine, one of the cleanest and most efficient on the market. This will mean much better fuel usage and therefore fewer emissions, which aligns with Eltherington's commitment to reduce its overall carbon footprint. The fully automatic gearbox will also ensure optimum driving economy, again helping to reduce fuel usage.
Antony Eltherington, Group Managing Director, said: "The new vehicles represent a significant investment for our company and will allow us to build on our reputation for excellent service levels. The new vehicles are all part of investing in our business growth targets that we have set between now and 2016."
Eltherington's continued business expansion has allowed the company to create over 20 jobs in the last few months, with a number more expected in the near future, boosting the local economy.
As part of its growth plans, Eltherington has also launched an advanced new website and branding that reflects its core values of innovation, performance and vision.
Eltherington has supplied a wide variety of prestigious projects including high quality perforated aluminium cladding for The Arc in Hull, Edinburgh International Conference Centre and several of the London Underground stations.
A number of projects supplied by Eltherington have gone on to win RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) awards including London's Southbank University and The Corpus Christi College at the University of Cambridge.
