Deploy UK forms new rail division

Deploy UK has formed a new rail division to better cater to the needs of the rail infrastructure sector, according to Railway Technology.
The move is part of its expansion plan to specifically focus on the rail network recruitment industry. Deploy UK Rail will operate its business from a new premises at Euston Station in London.
The main business of the newly formed entity is to work collaboratively with its trades and labour division. Deploy UK managing director Simon Gazzard said: "We are both excited and committed to progressing and up skilling our labour supply resources which will give them a consistent and continuous employment across construction, rail, London underground and light transit."
"We are able to offer temporary, contract and permanent blue and white and technical recruitment solutions for both across the UK and work in a collaborative approach with our clients and suppliers."
Deploy UK Rail will supply contingent labour for signalling, track, building, civils, telecoms, electrification, plant operators, on track protection and warning services and electrical isolation staff. Other services to be offered by the new firm include external client training of electrical first aid, emergency first aid, manual handling, fire awareness and asbestos awareness.
