Mr. Akbar Ali: We actually provide wide range for all of our services. Transportation is one of those services. We have our own fleet of vehicles, multi axle, and lowbed for local delivery of goods. Many experts and experienced transport companies are affiliated and associated with us to provide our customers very efficient transport services for Containerized Deliveries, Breakbulk, Heavy Lift, Over Dimensional Machinery and for goods meant for upcountry destinations.
Our fleet of 20 trucks is well equipped with an advanced tracking system. Our proficient maintenance staff ensures that all our vehicles and devices are meeting the quality standard through routine maintenance and spot checks at our fully equipped workshop facility.
It's my pleasure to tell you that we were the first to provide total logistics solution for "Windmill Projects" in Pakistan. We recently handled another windmill project as well in which we carried Wind Turbine for Windmill Project from Karachi Port and Port Qasim to the site at Jhampir. We have special equipments and specialized labor to handle such big projects. We have expertise in providing complete range of services for windmill projects such as road surveying, custom clearance, heavy lifting, loading unloading, transportation and the list goes on.
JCtrans: Aaras Shipping has 2 overseas offices in Malaysia and Afghanistan. Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?
Mr. Akbar Ali: We have setup our offices in Malaysia and Afghanistan, and by the grace of God-Almighty we are enjoying good business terms in those countries. Let me bring it into your honorable readers that Aaras Shipping Agencies (Pvt.) Ltd. has now established its representative office in Shanghai, China too. We are focusing more on China Market and also large portion of our business is consisted of business from China, that's why we felt the need to appoint a permanent office to represent our company so that our respectable clients be satisfied and can inquire anytime about the status of their assigned job to Aaras Shipping Agencies (Pvt.) Ltd.
So you may have got the idea that we are not exploring foreign market only for our sole benefits but we are more focused on providing our customers' complete satisfaction, and to make them feel secure when they assigned any job to us. J
JCtrans: Being in logistics industry for several years, would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?
Mr. Akbar Ali: Although, there remains sometimes uncertain situation locally in our country, but I must say that there is huge market for CHINA in our country. Or it will not be wrong to say that CHINA has just captured the whole market. J Very important reason of the presence of China in our market is that Pakistan enjoys a very healthy and brotherly relation with CHINA. We have due respect and care for Chinese People by heart!!
We have three sea ports in our Country Karachi, Mohammad Bin Qasim and Gwadar. And since, large part of our economy is based on the imports and exports, that's why the logistic industry is enjoying good position in our country.
JCtrans: In order to make Aaras Shipping go on developing steadily, what strategic planning do you have for the next 3 or 5 years?
Mr. Akbar Ali: We have set only one strategy for every next year to come, and that is "Whenever any one from any corner of the world thinks about IMPORTING or EXPORTING anything FROM or TO *PAKISTAN*, we want to be his / her first and the only choice to provide Total Logistics Solution".
