Interview with Mr. SERGIO BINI, Director of B&M Logistica Internacional

JCtrans: Hello, Mr. SERGIO BINI. Firstly, will you please make a brief introduction of your company?

Mr.SERGIO BINI: Certainly. B&M is a very well established and solid Brazilian forwarder and NVOCC, with 12 years offering superior services in Brazil. We have offices in Santos, Sao Paulo, Itajai, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba, able to offer services in all logistics fields. We are also WCA members for almost 10 years now.

JCtrans: As a member of WCA (World Cargo Alliance), as well as CGLN (China Global Logistics Network), IGLN (Inter Global Logistics Network) and AWS (All World Shipping), B&M Logistica Internacional must have strong competitiveness. Then will you please talk about B&M Logistica Internacional's Enterprise Characteristics?

Mr.SERGIO BINI: Well, I am glad that you asked that. B&M, as a Brazilian company, make all efforts to make Brazil viable and fruitful business frontier for all our partners abroad. Our main goal is to make Brazil a good platform of business for all our partners and make their life easy and profitable when doing business with Brazil. Our country has certain peculiarities and characteristics like customs being famous of being complicated, but this is an aspect that we take care of, after all we are a Brazilian company and we, again, want to make the things smooth for our partners. That's our main goal.

JCtrans: We know B&M Logistica Internacional operates a large range of business, such as International freight, Warehousing, Project Cargos and so on. Then would you please talk about the advantageous services of B&M?

Mr.SERGIO BINI: I have no hesitation in saying that we can offer all logistics services from anywhere or to anywhere in Brazil, presenting to our partners superior quality in communication. We are very strong in ocean and air freight, covering all main airports and seaports in Brazil.

JCtrans: Since B&M Logistica Internacional was established, through wind and rain, B&M Logistica Internacional has become an influential company in logistics industry. And you must have your own feelings or experiences of this industry. Would you please share with us?

Mr.SERGIO BINI: Of course. As I mentioned briefly before, experience has showed us that many companies in other countries have great business possibilities with Brazil, but sometimes feel reluctant of doing business because of some peculiarities pertaining to Brazil, like for example customs regulations being difficult and strict, communications being difficult, transfer of money being difficult, HBL has to be registered, and things like that. At B&M we show to our partners that yes, some of these peculiarities are correct, however, and that is very important, we at B&M are the ones to conduct these aspects, leaving our partners free to conduct their business. We take care of all these aspects making all dealings with Brazil easy and smooth to our partners. And we have been extremely successful on that!

JCtrans: Though B&M Logistica Internacional has achieved a lot, we are sure it will go on developing steadily. Then will you please talk about your strategic planning in next three years?
