Navy Helicopter Crashes in Thailand, 9 Killed

A navy helicopter crashed in Thai northeastern province of Surin Friday morning and all of nine people on board were killed.

The Bell 214 helicopter was returning to its base in Chon Buri's Sattahip district from its mission in Ubon Ratchathani Province when it crashed in Surin's Ratanaburi district at 11:30 a.m. (0430GMT), Thai Traffic Radio FM 100 quoted a police source as saying.

All nine people, including two pilots, mechanics and passengers, on board were killed, the report said.
