International honours for dnata’s ground handling operations

dnata continues to build its reputation as the world's most admired air services provider after being named Ground Handler of the Year by Air Transport News.
"Each day, in 22 airports around the world, our ground handling teams ensure our customers receive the best service possible,” said Gary Chapman, President, dnata. "From snowstorms to the desert heat, our experts manage some of the world’s busiest airports in some of the most challenging conditions. This award highlights the dedication of each member of the team, in each location.”
dnata's ground handling teams around the world support airlines with aircraft appearance; load control and flight operations; passenger assistance; technical and line maintenance; and ramp services.
Internationally, dnata handles more than 70 million pieces of luggage a year, and helps more 80 million passengers. At its Dubai hub, dnata manages every passenger and cargo aircraft landing or departing Dubai. This translates to more than 360,000 aircraft movements, more than 65 million passengers, and more than 2.2 million tonnes of air cargo at Dubai International airport and offers the same expertise at the newly opened Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central.
Finalists were determined from more than 4,000 votes by Air Transport News readers, and a panel of experts selects the winners.
The jury determines winners based on a number of categories, including innovation and entrepreneurship, achievements over the last year, financial performance, new products launched, and contribution to society.
