Lufthansa Systems today announced that Aegean Airlines has selected a comprehensive package of its aeronautical solutions and signed a five-year contract for the Lido/Flight flight planning solution as well as the Lido/RouteManual, Lido/eRouteManual and Mobility Suite navigation charts. Lido/Flight calculates optimal flight routes based on various factors and can reduce fuel costs by up to five percent.
The paper-based Lido/RouteManual chart solution and its electronic counterparts Lido/eRouteManual and Mobility Suite for the iPad provide Aegean Airlines with navigation charts for take-off and landing procedures as well as airport and route charts. Based on the Lido navigation database, the charts contain all important route information including altitude and airport data. For Aegean Airlines the charts are updated weekly and can be downloaded for briefing on the iPad or via internet at all times.

Lido/Flight also offers additional modules which facilitate dispatchers' work in various subtasks. It is in use with major airlines around the world operating in different business models.
