Yusen Logistics is bolstering its LCL own consolidation services to and from Japan, by adding the new lane from Cambodia to Osaka that began in November, it now has a total of 222 lanes, forming one of the largest LCL networks among Japanese logistics companies.
The Group's Cambodia corporation, which commenced operation on November 1, started its LCL own consolidation service from Cambodia to Osaka.
Yusen Logistics has strengthened its service routes primarily in Asia, starting export lanes from Japan to Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia in 2012, and import lanes from the Philippines and Taiwan to Japan in June 2013. These add up to an LCL service network of 222 lanes - 179 out of Japan and 43 to Japan.
With this flexibility in scheduling together with the Group's safe and accurate handling at all origins and destinations, Yusen Logistics can achieve a door-to-door service of high quality that meets its standards in every country around the world. It can also combine the service with its conventional stronghold of airfreight or with its warehouses totaling over 2 million square meters of capacity to offer total logistics solutions that meet the diverse logistics needs of customers.
Yusen Logistics will continue to expand LCL service lanes while developing consolidation services for dangerous goods and frozen/refrigerated goods.
