Riga. In the last quarter of 2013, Latvian airline airBaltic has achieved record 15-minute punctuality rates - 91.7% in October, 96,2% in November and 93.2% in December. These are record months in terms of punctuality for airBaltic over the past five years.
Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: "Our customer is our main focus. Convenient, reliable and punctual service ensures that our customers will make it on time or ahead of scheduled arrival to their meetings, connecting flights or return home to their families and friends. We are proud to achieve sustained punctuality improvements for the benefit of our passengers travelling to and from our 60 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and CIS."
The 15-minute punctuality indicator of 93.2% in December means that 93 of every 100 airBaltic flights in December departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
airBaltic was the first airline in Europe in 2009, that introduced an early arrival guarantee. This warranty offers additional benefits in the rare cases where the delay has occurred.
