2010-12-17

Science Applications International Corp. has appointed Andrew Jazwick senior vice president of aviation security in its Security and Transportation Technology business unit.
Jazwick will focus on developing customer relationships related to SAIC's acquisition of Reveal Imaging Technologies Inc. earlier this year. SAIC's systems are used by customs, military and other security organizations worldwide to detect illicit items hidden inside baggage, vehicles and cargo containers.
Since joining SAIC in 1999, he has served as a liaison to the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. government and advised the SAIC leadership team on legislative policy initiatives. Most recently he was vice president for government affairs, responsible for communicating and representing the company's defense, homeland security, intelligence and international programs before the U.S. Congress.
