Global Aviation announces IPO

US military transport specialist Global Aviation Holdings (GAH) has announced plans for an initial public offering of up to US$100 million in shares.

The firm operates a combined fleet of more than 30 aircraft, including freighters, through subsidiaries World Airways and North American Airlines. Most of its charter flights are used to transport US military cargo and personnel.
