Delta Cargo has opened a 7,500sq metre facility at New York-JFK, with a capacity to handle 225 tonnes of cargo and mail per day.
The facility has 28 loading docks, all capable of handling 53ft trucks; 12 customer service counters, with two additional areas to assist customers using international or domestic small package services; and an in-house US customs clearance centre.
