The gold price in Hong Kong went up 21 HK dollars to 5,961 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 644.36 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 2.56 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7655 HK dollars.
