World crude oil futures fell on Tuesday ahead of energy stockpiles report, as concerns over supply eased.
Light, sweet crude for July delivery lost 62 cents at 65.35 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Brent crude for July delivery fell 77 cents to 68.79 dollars a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange in London.
The U.S. Energy Department will release its energy report on Wednesday. The analysts expected gasoline inventories will rise. Gasoline supplies are closely watched as the summer driving peak is around the corner.
Even though gasoline prices may be higher this summer, U.S. motor fuel demand will remain strong, the Energy Department predicted.
