American Commercial Lines Inc. Announces Title Sponsorship of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race at Atlanta Motor Speedway

American Commercial Lines Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLI - News; "ACL" or the "Company") announced today that it has signed on as title sponsor for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race to be held on Friday night, March 16th, 2007, at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The race will officially be known as the "American Commercial Lines 200."

"Given the rapidly growing popularity of NASCAR and its truck series, this sponsorship gives ACL an opportunity to support the interests of our employees and customers," said Shayne Ingersoll, Vice President of Human Resources. "There will be tremendous pride and excitement when the ACL logo is seen at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. It will be an exciting and memorable experience for our employees and customers. The event also allows us to reach a large audience of prospective employees, giving them an opportunity to learn more about ACL."
